Jazz Band

This is a page for all the students in the jazz band class.

This ensemble at Reeves MS gets to explore different musical styles such as swing, latin, funk, & rock in a smaller ensemble setting.  It also allows students who have studied rhythm instruments separately to be able to apply their skills as well.  Due to the advanced level of this group and the requirement for students to read music at a high level, only students who are regular concert band get to participate in jazz band.

We meet before school on Tuesday & Thursday mornings from 7:30-8:20am.
