Wife: Cathy Gudgel, Clinical Psychologist, Currently at Mc Lane and Lincoln Elementary

Outside of school: Growing 95% of our food on a 10 acre organic farm in Thurston County, woodcarving, fishing, mycology (mushroom collecting and identifying), supporting GRUB ( a community organization which helps local teens build themselves through growing food), and raising golden retrievers.
