Reeves Raider Report
Hello Raiders and Families!
Thank you to all the families who were able to conference with us this past week!  It means a lot to our teachers, and to your kiddos, to be able to check in every now and again.  We hope you were also able to check out our Academic Introduction slideshow to learn more about the curriculum and grading practices of each class.  If you haven’t seen it yet, here is the link.
This week we will be having MAP testing.  I know what you are probably thinking… how is this going to happen in a virtual setting?  Let me reassure you that it is not as bad as it sounds.  On Thursday and Friday, students will log into their advisory Zoom classes so that their teacher is with them along the way to answer any questions or trouble shoot any problems they may be experiencing.  They will stay logged into their advisory class the entire testing session.  Most students will finish the session in the morning (before 11:00 when we break for lunch), but if your student needs more time, they can return for the afternoon at 1:00 to finish up.  Regular classes, including advisory, will NOT take place on Thursday and Friday this week.  I have attached a schedule and also a guide to give you more testing details below.
I am going to leave you with that this week.  I hope everyone had a fun and safe weekend, and didn’t eat too many treats!
