Springtime brings on positive emotions for many of us. For those who are struggling, though, it can be a harsh reminder that even though the weather is getting better, things in life are not. Now is a good time to check on your student’s mental health. Here is a suicide facts and prevention document from our counselor, and a link to start the search for a therapist. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you ever have concerns about your child.
Flyer Mental Health Workshop March 19th: The Olympia Education Foundation is hosting Dr. Bre Haizlip for a family workshop surrounding children’s mental health. Childcare and dinner will be free! Register to attend the 6-8pm workshop at the ASHHO Cultural Community Center. See the attached flyer for more details.
