Reeves RAMblings Summer Edition
Greetings Reeves families,
Our Back to School Orientation is Friday, August 28th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. This is an open house style, so students and families are welcome to come anytime between 11 and 2. On this day, students will pick up their schedules and locker information, have their school photo taken (link to order pictures), and be able to make purchases (Spirit wear, sports, yearbook for $40, and/or lunch money). We will also have our PTA group available. If your student is unable to make it to Orientation, that is ok! Schedules will also be available on Skyward through Family Access on August 28th. We will have our photographers back on for another photo day as well. Our school can provide accommodations for students and families that have needs related to Sensory Processing Issues (i.e. difficulty with louder settings, crowds, etc.). Our first day of school is Thursday, September 3rd. Class begins at 9:20 each day. The 2026-2027 Daily Schedules can be seen here. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, we will be on Schedule A. Wednesdays we will be on Schedule B. Our A schedule will include Opportunity Time (OT) and B schedule is our district wide 50-minute early release day along with Advisory Time. All of our 6th graders will have first lunch and all 8th graders will have second lunch. Our 7th graders will be split between first and second lunch. We will review how all of this works with our students on the first day of school, but wanted to share it with families in advance.

The student supply list can be found here. If you need help with supplies, please let us know. The Little Red SchoolHouse distributes supplies to us in early September and we are happy to put together backpacks for students who need them.
