Public Hearing Sign-Ups Now Open for Madison ES

Sign-ups are now open for the Madison Elementary School public hearing, scheduled for Monday, October 19 at 6 p.m.

This hearing is an opportunity for families, staff and community members to share feedback with the Olympia School Board regarding the possible consolidation of Madison Elementary School. Participants may comment in person or via Zoom.

Speakers will have up to three minutes. If more than 50 people sign up, comments will be limited to two minutes per speaker so everyone has an opportunity to participate.

Each speaker must sign up for their own spot and provide their own comments. We also ask community members to speak at only one of the three school hearings so each school community has the greatest opportunity to be heard.

Please Note: On-site sign-ups will also be available at this hearing and will remain open until 7 p.m., one hour after the meeting begins.

Community members may submit written correspondence to the Olympia School Board by mailing it to Olympia School District, Attn: School Board, 111 Bethel Street NE, Olympia, WA 98506.
