Reeves Middle School

 

There was a lot of excitement in the building on Friday! A Friendship Dance and the first day of Drama Club… the students were so excited! Thank you to our PTA for working with the City of Olympia to bring back an activity night back to our students. I am sure the kids had a fabulous time! Also, a huge thank you to Ms. Land for offering Drama Club to our students. I know the turn out to the first day was amazing and I can’t wait to see it come together!

 

First semester report cards will be posted to Skyward Family Access this week. I will send an email with instructions on how to view those when they are available. If you would like to have progress reports automatically sent to you by email to stay up to date with your students grades and missing assignments, you can sign up through your Skyward account. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.

 

A message from our Librarian! Mrs. Waugh has been running a quarterly reading incentive program, Reeves Readers Rock! this year. Open to all students, this program recognizes and rewards all participants with a small prize, and students who read four books and submit four Google forms by the end of the quarter are invited to celebrate with donuts! During 2nd quarter, Reeves Readers Rock! participants (including Battle of the Book teams!) read over 150 books! Congratulations to all participants -- and keep up the great reading!

 

Next week is Mid-Winter Break. The dates on my previous Raiders Report were incorrect for this. Mid-Winter Break is Monday the 20^th and Tuesday the 21^st. We will have school on Wednesday.
