If you pick up your student, please leave room for others to get around your vehicle! This is extremely important in case we have an emergency near the end of the day. Emergency vehicles and families picking up early need to be able to enter our parking lot and pick-up zone. Thank you for your help with this.
Candy Grams are being sold during lunches and Opportunity Time through Valentine’s Day. Candy Grams cost $1. Students get to choose the Candy Gram and write a message that will be delivered at the end of sixth period on Valentine’s Day.
8th grade baby pictures: If you would like to have your 8th grade student’s baby picture in the yearbook, please send it to Mr. Gunther at [email protected]. Please include your student’s name with the picture. Yearbook will be accepting pictures for the month of February.
Students taking PE second semester require a PE shirt. These are for sale in our office, and cost $9. PE shirts are available in adult sizes S-XXL. You can pay with cash, card, or check in the office. You can also pay by card over the phone by calling our office at 360.596.3400.
RMS Homework Club: Homework Club will be open after school (until 5:20) every Thursday on a drop-in-basis, no registration required. Bus transportation home is available.
Girls Soccer and Boys Basketball start Thursday, February 22nd. Practices will be held right after school on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. To register your student, please go to the FamilyID website. You will need a current copy of your sports physical form and can upload it by scanning it or taking a photo of it with your phone. Physicals are good for 13 months from the date of the exam. The Pay to Play fee is $60 per sport and can be made online or by calling the front office.
Girls Flag Football is being offered by TCYFL, Thurston County Youth Football, as a spring sport! Many high schools, including Olympia High School, are beginning to offer Flag Football as a winter sport. Currently, the TCYFL is offering Girls Flag Football to 7th and 8th grade girls. Registration has been extended to February 29th, please go to TCYFL.com to sign up. Go to Registration and 2024 Spring Football Player Registration, follow the steps and make sure to select Girls Flag Football. Cost to participate is $125, but this includes a uniform with a custom nameplate.
