Beginning Monday April 21, through Friday May 2, Olympia School District families, staff, and students in grades 3-12 are invited to participate in our Panorama Spring Climate Survey.

The Olympia School Board honored OSD educators for achieving or maintaining National Board Certification (NBCTs) during a special recognition at the start of the April 10, 2025, regular board meeting.

The Olympia School District’s Language Access Plan affirms Board Policy 4217 and 4218 and their accompanying procedures, which support establishing effective, two-way communication between the school district and family members with limited English proficiency, and promote access for such families to programs, services and activities of the District.

The Olympia School District Board of Directors has approved the school year calendar for the 2025-26 school year. ​ This calendar includes only districtwide holidays and events. School-specific events are not included, so be sure to check school websites/calendars for specific school-related events and activities.

Free sports physicals will be offered on Saturday, June 7, 2025, for Olympia School District middle and high school students planning on participating in athletic programs during the 2025-26 school year.

New and renewal transfer requests are now being accepted for the 2025-26 school year.

The Olympia School District has been gearing up for a major information system upgrade: transitioning from Skyward SMS 2.0 to Skyward Qmlativ in July 2025. This move promises enhanced functionality across key areas of student information, payroll, finance and human resources. It also improves the functionality of both Family and Student access.
